Ashland is the best place in the whole world! well, one of them anyway. I went my sophomore year with Lilith, actually, and my school. it was an interesting group of kids, stoners and drama people. there is my favorite clothes shop there too! gypsy rose or the sward and the rose or something like that. they don't have any sales tax there. there is the most amazing stage, and the sets were incredible. i didn't used to like Shakespeare before then. but i do because of it. we saw like 7 plays a day, ran around, talked to actors, had a class or two, and went wild in Oregon. it was amazing. lucky you if you get to go in the summer! have you been before?
But you didn't see Cyrano with the under study, right? He messed up only TWO lines (he was in about five other plays) and did the rest PERFECTLY. He was a million bucks. In fact, I left him a note about how he inspired me so much and how I was so in love with him. I mainly did it to talk to the cute guy behind the counter-thingy. Ooh, Tegri, remember when I called you with that cute guy's phone so I had his number? I'm such a stalker... :)
And, honey, it's The Renaissance Rose. The Gyspy Rose is the downstairs costume shop. The Sword and the Rose is in SF, near the Castro. :)

Yes, I went there last summer. I saw Cyrano de Bergerac and The Merry Wives of Windsor.
Powell's Books was awesome as well.
